Come along to the opening event of 'Meat and Three Veg' this Friday 9th August 5-7pm!!

What began as an inspirational idea from one of our artists Murray Silverstone and his 'concrete' fruit sculptures, has now grown into a group exhibition responding to the theme 'meat and 3 veg,' a kiwi classic.
Murray Silverstone has a passion for growing food and is a volunteer with Kaipara Good Food. He works in the community gardens to grow vegetables to put into the Kai packs that are distributed to the community. This has been his inspiration to make concrete sculptures of fruit and vegetables for the Meat and 3 veg exhibition.
50% of all Murray's sculpture sales will be donated to Kaipara Good Food to further help with their food distribution. So come on down and support local and put back into the good work of our community!
