Patricia Brickell has evolved a unique visual language through
which colour becomes meaning like “words” and paint
becomes as “musical vibration
While living in the United States she pioneered what she terms
Sound Painting, which is “living, moving works of art set to
classical music and her own creative poetry on community
Radio and TV in Seattle”
Returning to New Zealand, seven years ago her exhibitions
include in the Orewa gallery and many Solo and community
exhibitions and competitions with the Northland Society of
Arts at Reyburn House Exhibitions of paintings, video and poetry.
Also two solos at the Barry Brickell Driving Creek Gallery and Little Roses in Parnell.
